Sustainability plays an important role in the Goldstar development project. It is our aim to achieve the highest possible BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The level of sustainability is mainly determined by the location of the area, immediately next to an important public transport hub. Furthermore, a balanced mix of commercial, residential and recreational land use will help to create a future-resilient city centre. Sustainability takes high priority also in the design of the buildings. The emphasis is on the welfare of the users, a high level of quality and flexibility, and on minimizing the impact on the environment through energy-efficient designs.
